Anyone having luck? Ive fished all day without a bite any suggestions on baits and areas i can try tomorrow??? Thanks

I would throw a jerkbait or crankbait on some secondary points if you are in clear water. I don't think its warm enough for them to be up super shallow yet. Most are still staging in 10-15 ft of water.

There’s plenty of fatties up shallow. Very shallow. They aren’t spawning, but they sure are eating.

Well I’d be using something that looks like an 8” gizzard shad swimming a few feet off the bank.

We are back home we fished for two days for bass with no luck ended up at the back of bull run in the shallow water chasing huge stripers got two on swim baits chartruse and white 3in worked well one was 24 inch and the other was around 28 or 29 on bass rods with no net that was a fun fight

One day they’ll learn.... Glide bait it is! I had a guy from Michigan (?) tell me that he was using a large 9” flutterspoon to catch some big bass here last April. We talked at the ramp one afternoon and I told him about catching a few citations that week on large gizzards and he went and pullled out that big spoon. Talked to him the next day and he said it worked pretty well.
