Our tradition has been to have the Meet & Greet the 3rd Saturday of January. This year that happens to be the SML Fire & Rescue 1st Annual Striper Tournament - nice of them to put on a tourney for us for our Meet & Greet So, my suggestion is that we hold the M&G on the normal date of tradition, but we do it in the evening around dinner - one option is the Mexican restaurant at the bridge as the post-tourney check-in will be just outside there (at 3:30 I believe) - or, we can look at other locations (perhaps The Copper Kettle at Indian Point / Magnum Marina). Open to suggestions on where... Thinking we say officially about 5pm but those fishing the tourney may roll in a little before, etc..... As always, its a good way to put a face to a forum name talk some fishing and get to know those here better. You are responsible for your own food, drink & actions 2018 Meet & Greet Location - Moosies @ Bridgewater Plaza on Hwy 122 - 4:30p till....

Anything at Bridgewater is to small and crowded I think. What Mexican restaurant? The one we went to few years ago?

Shadslinger - that Mexican place moved to a much smaller space across from Kroger - I forget what’s in the space now but don’t think it’s that great (was a Mongolian BBQ but not sure if it still is).
Last couple of years we only had about 10-15 folks so we can manage a number of places....

Do folks typically dock at the restaurant or drive there after loading the boats?

Depends on where we do it. There is the Rescue Squad Striper Tournament that day and the awards will be at the bridge, so my thought was to do it there after that since some of us might already be there.

Find out who has the best water and let me know, I'll try to make it. Anywhere but Jake's Place, they may remember me.

Alright - almost time for the M&G - we've decided to hold it at Moosies at Bridgwater Plaza since a number of folks will be close by for the SML Fire & Rescue tourney. We'll plan to convene around 4:30, or as soon as the tourney festivities wrap up (a little earlier or later depending). No specifc end time but I know since many may have been out since early that AM they may be dragging a little, but hopefully folks can at least make it for a drink and maybe a quick bite - It will be good to see some old faces again and meet some new ones. As a reminder, all food, beverage & behavior is your own responsibility
