My current bait tank did not come with an air-flow regulator that attaches to the rubber tubing. I want to order one to attach to the tank but am having a difficult time finding one on the Google. Does anyone know the name of that device?

Don’t bother - the more air the better. Mine is connected to my Dannco only because it was there but I leave it wide open

My tank had one before I went to the Dannco. I Called and asked about putting it back on and he advised me not to. As Mwardncsu said run it wide open. If you want to add one, It's just a gate valve. Just get one with a barbed inlet and outlet the size of your hose and you can open it and close it however much you prefer for changing the air flow.

Personally, I like to leave my air flow closed. On my tank, a finer bubble is created when closed. A finer bubble equals a greater surface area to volume ratio which correlates to a greater chance for fish uptake. I have run at all different configurations and believe that my bait are more frisky and harder to catch in the tank when I leave the valve totally closed. I call it my "crack" setting because it seems to energize the bait.. Almost to a crazed state.
Thus, before buying a valve, maybe you should experiment with impeding your open tube some and see what you find. I wouldn't disregard your original query. Additionally, I have no clue what mine is called but it ain't very sophisticated.

Yam - that was also my experience when I had one of these things prior to my current tank. It is a bit counter-intuitive but restricting the air flow just a bit seemed to produce better oxygen and also better circular flow in the tank as well.
I have ordered a couple of these and I will do some video of the differences to share.
