WT 79-81 Mostly cloudy First of all I would like to thank Johnr for the information on catching white perch. We didn't set the world on fire , but we caught 15 or so whites and 1 yellow perch. Never found any schools, and the ones we located seemed to be scattered over about a 60 yard area in 10-15 ' of water. I could see where getting into a big school would be fun. I'm not sure what this was , maybe bait. Also the larger perch were spitting up two inch ales in the boat.

Was this an evening trip? They've been tough to non-existent most evenings for us. Mornings are a different story.
Also, we've gone to spoons and been doing just as well with numbers but a lot better on size.

Yep, evening trip.
The several ales spit up in the boat was promptly put on the hook and sent back down to catch another perch. I can sure see spoons working well. Thanks for the morning tip.
