We tried for stripers to start, but there'd be too many cuss words in that report for this forum so we decided to perch fish to salvage the morning.
I don't know how many we got, but it was a bunch of nice ones. They were all on 1/8 or 1/4 kastmasters, and a couple on crappie jigs, just because. The school we found today might be the biggest I've ever seen. 15-20fow in a small cove just off the main channel.
Oh, we got a few that I suspect are white bass too, or maybe perch/white bass hybrids. They weren't 100% white perch, that's for sure.

Awesome! Were they holding close to any type of structure?

Seemed like they were on a drop off. The top was around 9' and it bottomed out around 20' and they were in between. I'm guessing it was the edge of the old creek channel coming out of that cove.
