I've got a few of the Flitter Baits - those things have crazy action. Not caught a striper on one yet, but only used them a few times now. Been eyeing the Smack Jack's - they look really good.
Late April will be getting to be a good time for night fishing - check out the jointed Thundersticks you'll find down this way (from Storm). Throw them almost on the bank, slow, slow, retreive - just enough to cut a wake - and hang on. A bit cheaper than the Smack Jack.
