Fish Fry tonight! White perch on the menu

Well after reading Johnr's reports on catching all those perch and him being nice enough to share his knowledge on how to catch them, I just couldn't take it anymore. Headed out before daylight this morning to penhook boat dock and proceded up into back of bull run. I had 2 goals today, I wanted to catch 2 fish at a time and catch a citation. GOALS ACHIEVED!! I caught 2 fish at a time twice and got a 13.5" citation white perch. Wow what a blast.... I have no idea how many we caught, but we did keep 38 to fry and 1 small striper that swallowed hook to his you know where. We threw back as many or more than we kept. If i had to guess id say we caught 75 at least. Also hung something that never could turn, it ended up breaking off. Id guess a big cat. All fish caught on dropshot rigs with nightcrawlers.
