Thanks Pete. I'm planning on trying the tank just for the hell of it and the clear lines this weekend. Next week before the shop can get to it anyways. Maybe I'll get lucky.

Cool man. I am sure you will find the issue. Sounds like it is narrowed down pretty well.

I'm definitely trying. I hate to spend money on stuff I know I can do myself.

Shad my pump diaphram looked good as well but under pressure it was leaking. Just a thought in the event the tank fix doesn't work.

StriperJohn that's what my gut is telling me. Diaphragms in the fuel pump weak or stretched out. $130 for pump. I'm gone decide this weekend whether to replace pump or put it in the shop. I'd hate to put a pump on it and take it out and it still act up me.

I took mine to the guy in the back of Beckys creek, he checked it on the water 1st, then troubleshoot, repaired, then ran it again on water to ensure it was fixed. Guys name is Dale at Bayside Marina. Good luck that stuff is a PIA.

Im gone give Fulton at Southlake a shot. He is a striper mafia sponsor and I've heard good things about him. Plus he is close being on the same side of the lake as I am. Talked to him on the phone. Real nice guy. Either gonna let him do a diagnosis and I fix it from there or may let him go ahead and fix it while he has it. Im still thinking pump...lol The oil side of my VRO has been disconnected and I pre mix the gas, so I'll be replacing with a regular gas only pump if that is the problem.

I'm relentless when it comes to mechanical work. I can't stand to let something get the best of me. Unfortunately I also have very little patience when things don't seem to be working right so it usually takes awhile for me to get it figured out. I'm off work today so I decided I would go over everything one more time before giving up and taking it to the shop. Low and behold found a tiny little hole in a rubber cap where the vro oil input was blocked off. This was sucking air into the fuel system and losing fuel pressure at high rpms. Fixed it and ran it at least 45min up at the lake wide open and no hiccups at all. Something simple bout cost a few hundred bucks. I'm still gone replace the vro pump with a simple gas only pump with less parts to go bad but for now atleast I am back up and running.

Great! Way to stick with it and figure out the problem for yourself.
Time to catch bait and go fishing.
