Whoa!!! Thats some dirty water right there.... If anyone knows what the BW looks like please post it. I live beside the river above the lake. It didn't even turn brown or get over 1.9 feet this week yet. It should look alright. |

Ahhhh never mind. I just got home and the river is very muddy and rising. We are about to get crushed by a big storm and it's been raining on the headwaters pretty heavy.

Is that under brooks mill? That's a lot cleaner than a few miles above 220.

Does anybody have an idea of what the Lake looks like around Mormans- as of 10-03-16. Hoping to go fishing soon. This was a bad storm we had last week with lots of wash and debris. Seems like the rains are getting worse.

I cant help with information on the Roanoke but the BW was actually very clear this past weekend - at least from Magnum on down towards the main lake.

10-3 afternoon. Trash is thinning out at Hardy. Water clarity improving. Did see a couple of gators floating below bridge. Watch out.

Gators are much better then them hidden tree trunks on the lower unit!

Out of Hardy this morning lot of trash up to Moremans once you hit the tennis courts it is fine .

Wanted to thank everyone for their input on lake clarity and trash/debris. It helps the people that are not close enough to see for themselves.

Up north end of Roanoake yesterday did not make it up to R78 and turned back! So much debris in brown water (Branches, bottles, and who knows what underneath). Sad
