Let's keep a running tally of ramps and their current status/condition. I'll sticky this post - feel free to post with updates to this thread and I'll edit this 1st post here with the overall summary. Any updates you have on public or private ramps please include... include the date of your update/observation.
Public Ramps:
Hardy Bridge - Boats in and out over the last few weeks - folks saying it is very shallow at the mouth - Last Update: 12/7/12, CorneliaGale
Halesford ramp (in Waterwheel Cove) - No issues loading bass boat, however be advised that if you have a tandem trailer, hug the rip rap on the left hand side of the ramp. There is a big rock located on the dockside side of the ramp where the pad stops - Last Update: 12/1312 - widgeon3
Penhook: Not too bad - just use the right side facing left drops off fast on the rocks - Last Update: ~11/23 - maintenanceman4lif
Private Ramps: Bayside Marina - Ramp Closed - Forklift out of operation due to low water level - Last Update: 11/16/12
Westlake Waterfront Hotel - able to launch Ranger bass boat with some difficulty, easier to recover - Last Update: 11/15/12
SML Boat Yard - Closed due to low water level - Last Update: 11/16/12

16Nov2012 Hales Ford ramp was good this morning, looked like about 3' water at the end of it. only problem was the rocks on the right going in. Hardy there was some boats there, looks like its really shallow at the point going out.

"able to launch Ranger bass boat with some difficulty"
I will try to elaborate without incriminating myself, it is possible that I was in the neighborhood when the Ranger launched at Westlake.
"some difficulty" translates to a broken transducer mounted on the trolling motor and hemmeroids tucked into socks.
"easier to recover" translates to backing the whole trailer into the water, hooking the eye and easing up 4 times till it was straight on the trailer.
I just happened to be around when he launched and took out. Hope this helps!

My ramp is almost outta commission. Bout 4-6" of water left at front. Lucky..lots of slips don't have any I noticed today. It's not good when you can't even see the top of the dock in the picture.

Is there one side of the Hardy Bridge ramp that is better to use than the other or are they both about the same depth and length? Thanks!

Looking at the water the ramp on left of dock I think is a little deeper but not by much. The biggest problem is getting outa cove. There's only inches of water

Thanks Chief and Dawg, I used the left one and didn't have a problem getting out but you are right that there isn't much water there. Fortunately I was in my shallow draft jet jon which only needs a few inches. I was mostly worried about the trailer falling off the end of the ramp but didn't have that problem.

Used the state ramp today at Hales Ford, water as deep enough to get two pontoons on the trailers, bunch of bass boats was using the ramp, seems like they did a job when they fixed the ramp, the water was deep enough to float one of the boats on the trailer and the other was a bunk trailer which we used the motor to push the boat on. Was a bunch of boats at Hardy, so I am guessing the ramp is useable.

Put my 24' Bay Boat in at Hales Ford this evening at level 790.3. Had to back the trailer down off the ramp onto the rocks to get deep enough to float / power off the trailer. Thanks to the guy taking out in the bass boat for the spot light and to BentRod's steady hand with the truck.

Took out my Ranger Z520 at Waterwheel state ramp today, lake level 790.40 ft. No issues, however be advised that if you have a tandem trailer, hug the rip rap on the left hand side of the ramp. There is a big rock located on the dockside side of the ramp where the pad stops. Just some FYI!

Yep - big rock that a tandem tire would want to run into, onto, over..... someone should wade down there and move that
