Can you launch at the state ramp across from Hals-ford bridge?

?? I hope so, because I don't know where else you can launch at now. The lake level is 789.55 and falling. I don't think you can get out of Hardy at that level.

Does anyone know if the state park or the hotel (Westlake) are still launchable?

state park is normally still ok depending on the boat length and how much water your draft is. I havent been by there lately by that is were I typically put in at and have never had much of an issue during low water.

I know someone that put in at the hotel today - said it was tough getting the boat off the trailer but easier getting out - the guy went bass fishing in a Ranger..... Just staying.....

So how low untill we start complaining to AEP? I understand that AEP has to generate electricity, but they have other means of doing besied this one dam. How about they start pumping water back in from down bellow?

State Park is probably about out of the water. Barely got the Bass Tracker in at 790.5 or so.

It's easy to complain about the level, but the lakes here to produce electricity and there's not much AEP can do about the lack of rain. What I have a problem with is when they open the flood gates and release a foot of water in a few hours time without any kind of warning. It's not only inconvenient to a lot of people and homeowners, it's potentially dangerous also.
