Zero-Tolerance SPAM

We get these every so often - I'll see a new member register and a few hours a post about Nike shoes, or casinos or other pops up.... To be honest, 95% of the time I can tell its going to be a Spam poster based on the email address of the user and am tempted to blow the account away before the 1st post arises - but will generally give the benefit of the doubt.

Once that 1st SPAM post hits, it will get deleted and the user will get deleted - gone..... fortunately its not too many - one or a couple a week - but we'll not let the forum get cluttered with SPAM / junk.....

We occasionally get post that are on the edge of Spam here as well - posts that are blatant product pitches from someone representing the company itself, or shilling for the company - those are OK if they are fishing related and in the "Market" section of the board. If a legit member here is providing a porting or endorsement for a product, those are welcome to be posted in the relevant sections of the board & encouraged.....

So, just FYI in case you come here and SPAM us up - don't expect your post nor account to last long, so don't bother....
