Trolling motor transducer

I have a 101 riptide cp/ap trolling motor and on my old trolling motor i put a clamp on transducer bc it was a folding tiller steer motor. My question is that is it possible to buy the end of a terrova motor with the transducer made as the end cap and will it fit on mine? I know that i can groove my shaft and run the clamp on type but like this idea a little better. Ive looked at them and they seem to look like they would fit just was seeing if any of you would have that info thanks in advance.

Yes - Ben McCall at SML Marine Electronics has done this to a couple.... he's gotten the Terova nose-cone with the internal xducer and then sanded/painted it to match the Riptide white. It's just a little unclear what, if any issues could arise with saltwater use.
