Speaking of which Mike, when you ordering that custom A-Rig rod ;D so when my HDS7 comes in you going to help me get it dialed in on that sweet spot?

Ha - I'm going to throwing the u-rig from my lift - very well may be this weekend - I may still have 2" of cable to spare but maybe not. I picked up a 7' 6" H rod that was not too expensive to toss it - just could not yet justify a fancy rod or something I'll throw rarely....
But give me a holler when it comes and and we'll get it dialed in as long as you can get it in the water....

Oh I will always be able to get in the water. Nice thing about having my boat on a trailer and having a bass boat ;D see they do come in handy. that coupled with a 4x4 truck, yep can pretty much find a place to launch even if i have to back down over rocks and mud to do it. and hey if all else fails I still have my kayk  Dont blame you on the rod, if its not something you are going to use all the much it is hard to justify the money. I will let you know when it comes in and I get it all installed. Thx for sharing that rebate info, helped make my mind up. |
