Guys:
I've wondered if anyone has had this experience. I had 468 hours on my motor when my battery went bad. I replaced it and presto chango 200 hours got added to my motor meter. Has anyone else had this experience?

Are you talking about the hour monitor as a part of the gauges - or do you have a separate, dedicated hour gauge?

I have an hour monitor as part of the rpm gauge.

Gotcha. By any chance is that indicating some code? I know the Suzuki analog gauges ramp up to show hours used or error codes when you first turn on the key. That or the old battery had you running on slo-mo time

Thanks...I'll check it out. I bought boat 3 years ago (a pontoon that was 10 years old at that time) and it had 178 hours on the motor. In 3 years of our use it registered 468 hours until I changed the battery. I guess I better call the marina to see what the significance of the change. Thanks for the assistance Mike.
