We fished the New River for Musky Saturday. We had 6 good follows and kept some good interest up on the figure 8's on some. Two looked to be pretty good fish. My son hooked 2 but they came off. I have decided I am going to leave the live bait fishing for stripers I think you either have to do one or the other, it seemed to slow us down on working the banks while casting. The weather was nice and everyone seemed to have a good time so that is what counts. We finished the weekend off with a trip to the circus. We are thinking about hitting the James next.
