Lake Gaston fisherman breaks record twice in 24 hours

A college student fishing on Lake Gaston caught a record breaking 91-pound catfish on Sunday and is poised to break the same record less than 24 hours later.
Zakk Royce had just released the fish near the Gaston Dam after having it weighed and certified when reeled in a 105-pound catfish about noon today.
“I’m honestly ... I don’t even know what to think about it,” said Royce. “I’ve been fishing Lake Gaston for 14 years and never caught anything this big. It’s crazy.”
