Got out on SML for the first time since this past fall looking for a little redemption. We launched out of Hardy Forde and headed down lake towards Indian Run. We picked up 20-30 bass mainly in main lake cuts around that area. Most of the damage came on swimbaits. Think we ended up with 10.4 pounds and took 2nd place in the tournament we fished. Wish SML was closer to me.

you mustve caught a lot of dinks to be using swimbaits and only average 2lbs a fish at weigh-in

redbear, considering these fish are coming out of spawn with some males still guarding fry dinks are not a surprise
Oh and I think it took 13 lbs to win it...so is what it is

I agree with the worms and lizards, they are still very good at SML and I have always prefered to fish them very slow (crawl the bottom & stop). Black spinner baits are also very good at night. Sometimes I think so much emphasis is put on the new stuff (swimbaits, jerkbaits, etc), folks forget about the old tried and true stuff. I have no problem trying new stuff, but I like the old stuff as well. I still catch bass on worms, lizards and jigs I had and used 35 years ago.
