I have a 9.9 hp tracker boat and I'm looking for a good place to night fish without being ran over by bigger boats. I don't want to drive far away from the ramp, no more then at least a mile or two. Any ramps close to good fishing spots would be helpful. Thanks.

Any ramps close to good fishing spots would be helpful. Thanks. If you put in at the public ramp across from the Waterwheel Marina, these are some very good spots within an easy reach with your 9.9 1. The creek the public ramp is on, docks & points ( I can't recall the name of creek at the moment.) 2. Waterwheel Marina docks and banks all the way out to Hales Ford Bridge. 3. All the rip-rap at both ends of the Hales Ford Bridge. 4. The little "cut" directly behind Webster's Marina, fish the rip-rap. Websters Marina right by Halesford Bridge. 5. The whole creek that leads back to the old Campers Paradise. (First creek on right after you go under bridge, going upriver. All these spots have been very productive over the years for me, and all are within 1 or 2 miles from the public ramp. It would easily take you all night to fish these areas throughly, so you don't have to worry about running out of fishing spots. Hope this helps.....
