Called Yam on Friday morning trying to entice him with the thought of catching one of those big blue cats I have been showing him pictures of ---- and who knows maybe even accidentally hooking up with a 40lb or 50lb rockfish!!!!! He asked the boss and it was on. Left my house 6pm -- was catching bait around 715pm -- lines in the water 745pm --- Over the course of the next 9 hours we switched places 8 times all in a 1/2 mile radius around the 95 bridge // downtown Richmond --- We ended up with 5 stripers 23inches being the biggest (all released and healthy, season not open) caught 1000 blues from 3 lbs to 15lbs --- Ok maybe not 1000 but after you catch 30 of those you don't even want to get out of your chair to reel in another. Then it happened -- finally a good pulled down -- 28lber -- not the 50 pounder or the Big cow rockfish but was just what the doctor ordered late into the fishing rotation. We had to restock on bait halfway through the night -- found a little corner by an island -- Ooopps -- took both of us to lift it into the boat!!!!! Those are all Gizz around 13 inch to 17 inch -- we thought around 60 to 75lbs -- all were returned back to deep hole they came from but 10…. What a mess that made on the Boat!!!!! off the water at 530am -- back to my house 630am and off to my sons baseball game @9am ---- Yammmy made it safe and sound back home by 8am.. Another new adventure!!!!! Thanks for coming Yam!!!!

So please clarify. The mess on the boat - this came from the gizzards, or from Yam upon seeing those Mongos? On second thought - please don't clarify.,. Sounds like a fun night!

After a clarification from Yammmy --- it was more like 200lbs of GIZZard mess and Mward that is a Big Mess!!! We were both Laughing as it took both of us to lift the 1 inch Tim Wade from the river -- I believe it took 1 or 2 minutes just to empty the net.
