They have to be 24 in on the river to be able to keep. Use bucktail to flukes usually work best shad work too

I no it was a lot of fish caught in the brookneal area this weekend. I only caught 3. I have some kind of curse this year. I can't get into them like everyone else has been doing.

Caught 10 friday evening and 7 Saturday morning. Fished about 2 hours each day. Tough fishing for me when water is rising.

With all these reports of 10 15. 30 fish being caught you have to assume things will be tough. Seems like an awful lot on such a narrow body of water but what do I know. The boats were stacked when I crossed 501 ...silly seeing folks on top of each other but to each their own.

Well I tend to agree with the boats on top of each other.. it gets really irritating when your drifting a section of bank and someone goes 30 yds down in front of you and throws anchor and cuts your drift.had this done to me all weekend for most of them to just throw their bait lines in for a min then pack up and leave and run the fish out the hole with the motor. But on a better note I had 13 in the boat sat after fishing ALL day. And only 7 yesterday. All but two caught below falling river. And cant get them to bite anything but all white.
