The water is getting back right. I like it the way it is right now. Still has a little color to it. Fished the rocks above brookneal this evening, I got one hit and lost that fish but between the 7 other people that was there it was between 20-30 fish caught. A few real nice ones. A friend of mine caught one that was 30 inches. The fish was on the move this evening. Good luck to everyone this week.

Fished from Sportsman Club to Clarkton yesterday morning, only got 1 strike. Took out and went to Watkins. Fished from Watkins to Steel Bridge. Caught one lost one. It was a tough day for me.

You and me both sir I fished brookneal from about 2 on and got two bumps and only know of 5 fish that were caught all day evidently we need to go with buzzard and watch what hes doin lol

is it mostly a evening bite, or are you guys going after work ? i fished there twice, 2 years ago, never got a hit.

Really just depends on when the fish wanna bite ive caught the at about every hour during the day but the evening fromabout 4 till dark seems to be the best imo

Buddy of mine said he caught 24 the the water started dropping and the fish turned off

Hooked 18 boated 16 less than 2 hours. Lot of fun. Cold wind starting blowing bite turned off.
