Been pretty shallow. I'd say around 4-6 fow. They have all been slabs too. Keep telling myself I need to go crappie fishing.

bearcat, I am a Blackwater guy. Only time I see that bridge is when I am in my truck. Too many fish up that way for me.

My guess is they are all over the lake, just find a cove with some downed trees, jigs or small minnows, start a couple of feet down and work down until you find the right depth, bigger ones are usually deeper, also bridges usually have some around.

We caught a 3.5 lb crappie in March in our cast net. Additionally, there is no doubt that if you pull up branches, you will likely be pulling up crappie. If I were still a crappie fisherman, SML would get me very excited!

I fished in the Campers Paradise area Sat. and Sun. using small minnows, nary a bite. Does the water temp have to be in the sixties?

I fished big Indian and little Indian creek without a bite also Saturday.

They were there in Campers, I pulled up a cast net full of nice ones. Couldn't catch a big shad in there to save my life though.
