well i fished the james river yesterday for the first time.i fished the Snowed section. i fished for smallies, and my partner fished for muskies. i boated 7 or 8 smallies. most fish around 2.5-3 pounds. i do enjoy river fishing, and catching smallmouth.my partner did not catch any muskies, but we still had a good time on the river. all fish caught on tubes and jerkbaits. water temp 49-51.

it was a fun day. the james reminded me much of the Susquehanna river, just a smaller scale and not near the number of fish.
