Went out and visited with a buddy who lives in San Antonio, Texas a couple weeks ago. While there we drove up and bass fished Town Lake in Austin. Conditions weren't great, like here spring has been slow to come and water temperatures were still down some and spawn is slow to turn on. We did catch a number of bass, but none of any bragging size. Also a few white bass, and a couple of cats.  [/URL]  [/URL]  [/URL] |

Looks like a pretty good trip to me!
Hillbilly I used to really like you but now that I see you're a Winthrop fan I'm not so sure! They were always our biggest rival in the Big South - Rock Hill's not too bad, but dang I hated Winthrop!

My wife went back to school and finished her degree at Winthrop; my daughter is now a freshman there. Where did you go to school? They were a top notch basketball program during the Greg Marshall years, but have fallen back some now.
