All that I no of being caught in Brookneal is some white perch and white bass. But it's been some real nice walleyes caught lately.

My uncle was down there Monday and caught one smallmouth a white perch and no stripers so started catfishing but they should be there any day

I got skunked. Fish just aren't up that far yet. It'll be soon though. Water was a little dingy but very fishable

Little early isnt it? Thought we had a few more weeks. Water temps are still down, not sure if that matters much.

Not really. I've caught them early as March 18 right around turnip creek. They should be in brookneal pretty good about the second week in April.
