That's a VERY different fishery out there - would like to fish it one time - be cool to fish amoung those canyons. From what I've read there are just huge schools of small fish everywhere - typically deep but will come up and surface feed certain times of the year..... Could be jigging heaven.

Looks like the lake is still very low and a lot of the marinas are not useable since the lake is 100 feet below being full. linkIn the fall of 1977, I went about 100 miles up the lake. You can go about 172 miles before you hit rapids. The scenery is unbelievable. I would love to get back there for a full month of exploring the lake and fishing. But with the lake level so low, it would probably be hard to launch. I posted some pictures in this here. |
