Think this post was on the old site, so thought a start a new one here.
We are planning on leaving Greensboro December 26th and fishing the 27, 28, 29. Will be staying at the Kiptopeke Inn or the other one just across the bridge. Let me know if anybody else is going and we can share info when we get on the water.
If there are any first timers going, I will be glad to share my (very) limited knowledge of the area with you.

Hoping to figure out a way to get up there this year..... will have to see what days work out for me in the December timeframe.... Keep everyone posted.

We have been doing dome research and plan to make some trips there this year we wont to get in on some of the striper action maybe we can go at the same time

Since you are staying on the Eastern shore, I am guessing you will be fishing the high rise or the 3rd and 4th island area around the bridge?

I mainly fish the area just out of Kiptopeke and a little north. If the weather permits, I will run down to the hi-rise. My understanding is that the schollies tend to hang out around the hi-rise. They are fun to catch, but those cows up north are really sweet!

Just saw a report that the water at the Ships is 52 degrees and that the bigger fish were showing up in upper Maryland. Soon - looking to see if we can work it out to get there in early December before things get crazy around home / holidays in case it gets cold quick this year... Just hope the fish come on in sooner than later...
