Some years ago, a truck that was hauling striper fry, broke down and instead of letting the die they took them down to the ramp at the cove and let them go in the lake, I don't fish there at all so I don't know how they are doing with the lack of a good food sourse I would not expect them to grow too much.

Really? I had never heard that! Hmmmm, may have to intercept one of the stocking trucks on 81 this year and see if we can manage a repeat performance!

Greenmonster - They actually used to stock Carvins a long time ago. And in fact I was toldthey started stocking hybrids again last year and again this year.
