WOW!!! Things have changed some since my last visit. I was hoping to scroll through some of the old threads from last year to see when the bass fishing would pick up again. Finally got some new trailer tires so I'm back in the action... if I only knew when that action was going to start. Does anybody know when they will decide to put the feed bag on and start to fatten up for winter? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all

Seems like late October is when they really turn on. Of course there are always exceptions, and plenty of fish can be caught before then.

Usually start getting on shad mid sept.

They seem to really turn on in the latter half of October. There are, of course, always exceptions, and there are still plenty of fish to be caught before that.
