well i fished leesville today. for those of you who know me, i am sorry to say, yes, my dog passed away, last friday. that had to be the worst day of my life so far. just 2 weeks shy of her 15th birthday.life is not full of the joy and happiness that i use to know. fishing today was very different also. i kept looking in the back of the boat where she would lay. although she wasnt there, i talked to her any way. i ended up catching 4 stripers, 3 at 30 in, 1 at 24. missed 2 runs, and had 1 chase my bait to the top and hit it , but didnt get it. 2 fish on down lines, 12-20 ft. 2 fish on light lines, 10-30 ft. wt- 81 and fairly clear.

Sorry for your loss. A dog is truly a mans best friend..nothing else like them in the world.
Great report too! Thanks for sharing!

thanks guys, i agree that dogs are mans best friend.there sure is a big emptiness inside of me and my home. i guess with time is will get better. i have never had a bond so strong with anyone . i am sure i will never forget her. the thirteen year old tattoo of her will never allow that. thanks again for the replies.
