Does anyone know where you can take your old line? I have a bunch of it and hate to throw it in the trash and it is more than I want to stuff in the recycle bins at the various ramps.

I don't know that I've seen the mono recycling "tubes" at any of the marinas - maybe at Gills Creek Marina but I'm probably wrong on that.
It would be a good idea if folks would respect it and my fill it will all sorts of other trash.....

Looks like just one place on SML....
A thought - would any folks on here be interested in helping out an "adopting" a recycle repository - if the SML Fishing Forum got some of the tubes put together and secured spots at various docks/marinas, would folks here be willing to adopt one and keep a check on it, emptying it as needed, etc?

Gator - other than Penhook - where have you seen recycle bins - maybe there are more out there than I'm aware and someone's already doing this..

Yeah, that sounds like a good way to help out. I wonder where it is supposed to ultimately go, though. I dont think it can go in with milk jugs and 2 litre bottles.
