Greetings, Succumed to throwing artificial and have to say I like it. Im curious as to where you guys hold your rod tip when reeling on the banks 12? 2? 5? Would love input.

9-10 for a better hookset.

Thanks..ive missed 6 or more fish lately...been fishin banks holdong rod at 3-4 o clock parallel to bank..guess i should be higher.

What kind of line are you using?? that is very important for a good hook set & how is the Busting right now ?? Realy being wanting to come that way but funds haven,t give me the opernituty !! God Bless & great fishing !!!

A softer tip rod with a little give to it is a must for top water fishing....also, don't set the hook on the blow up, wait till you feel the weight of the fish......

Braided is good A lot of people uses Florcarbon 10# Dosn,t stretch when setting hook but braid won,t either!! are you using a med heavy rod !!??
