I have no idea where to start lookin for these... any help? Esp interested in white bass..... thanks!!

I hear Kerr is the place to go for white bass in particular. The Dan and Staunton river arms are supposed to be pretty good especially during their spawning run. As for Smith, I've caught white perch mostly up the roanoke river arm from Moormans up to past Hardy bridge all the way to Niagra. Never caught any white bass in Smith myself.

Leesville is full of white perch....just cast a crank bait ....

yeah I catch em there on a little crawfish crankbait and white grubs.... lookin for em on smith..... \

I was in a school (white perch) over the weekend in a small cove Btwn R25 & Becky's. Saturday & Sunday. Also caught some stripes & cats. Attachments:
