Yes I agree. The Dannco venturi is a WINNER!! So, I think that 30 gallons is a bit too much weight on my rig, but I want more capacity than 20 gallons. SBT doesnt offer a 25 gallon tank so maybe I can just fill the 30 gallon tank 80-90% of the way and still have good results? Does that sound feasible?
I may take the tank out of the rear of my boat and place the 30 gallon tank up just behind the casting deck on my rig. Shoot, I have removable front seats and have had four people up there and planed out just fine. Normally when cruising there are two people up there and last weekend I had 350lbs. worth of people up there. When my 17 gallon is full and my cooler is back there the boat wont plane well, but move the cooler up front and all teams go. Sorry I am just thinking out loud here. It is a shame how little it costs to go from the 30 gallon to the 40 or even 50 gallon. Man that 50gallon sure is the bang for the buck tank......
All that being said, I guess I am leaning towards the 30 gallon tank. I like that the SBT tanks use all of the available water capacity for bait, whereas the blue waters and others use 20% for filter capacity. More weight and less bait!

Some guys will make different length standpipes go go inside the SBT-II filter box to adjust the water level..... so its an option.

Sutor, I was told that Ron Vest will make custom size tanks as well as the standard sizes. Give him a call and he may make that 25 for you.
Captains Quarters does have them coming in at the end of April. I would give them a call and get on the list. Last time I was there the list was getting longer.

Anyone have any experience with the keep alive insulated bait tanks? They have the filters attached to the pump intake so the downside is you have to reach into the tank to change the filter. But I hear they keep the water nice and oxygenated.

That's not a legit filter on the KeepAlives. It's just there to keep pump from clogging..doesn't actually filter the water and remove waste. My buddy may have one he'll sell you...he bought a Super II after he realized the KeepAlive didn't work that well for shad.
One thing you could do is add an external filter to a KeepAlive or similar but it's just easier in my opinion long term to buy a tank and be done with it forever. You can find a used 30gal for $300 I bet.

Thanks for the feedback. I have heard from others that they aren't the best tanks also. Gotta be a reason why they're only half the price!

It seems to me that the super bait tank actually holds more water than they tag it. It looks like the 30 gallon actually has 35 or more gallons of water in it (as far as measurements go) So a 30 gallon tank has 30 gallons of useable water space, and then there is more for the filter area. Is this accurate? Other tanks seem to use full capacity. The SBT tanks all have bigger measurements than the competitors.

Correct - When a SBT-II is called a 30, it means 30 gal in the bait side, and then there is whatever the filter side holds (probably 5-7). The Creekbanks and some others talk about total tank volume when quoting their tanks....

Anyone have any luck with the EZ Flow bait tanks? Just curious. The guys that makes em seems to think they have a better air flow system than the SBT. Other than that he says it is basically the same tank, and insulated very well.

They seem to be a direct rip-off of the SuperBait Tank II. Not sure about their air-system. Maybe they put a Dannco in there from the start

Looks like size-wise the best option for me would be the grayline 24 gallon oval tank. At only 16" wide, I could get it up in front of my console, between that and the casting deck. I think the weight up front will work better than in the stern. It looks like the circulation pumps are down in the bait section though. No separation for that in the graylines?
