Motor is finally fixed after sitting on the sidelines for almost 2yrs. Since it was last used in 2018, we’ve replaced: -Oils -Plugs -Impeller/housing -All 3 fuel filters -HP fuel pump/VST -Fuel regulator -All fuel lines, bulb, pickup (cleaned fuel tank) -Rewired all electronics throughout boat -New switch panel and fuse panel -New radio -New speakers -New LED lights -New console glovebox -New bilge and livewell pumps/plumbing -Remounted trolling motor (still have to replace TM plug receptacle and check connections/charger; new batteries maybe even though I’ve only used them 2-3x?) -Remounted bait tank mount with new stainless hardware Gonna fish this thing in 2020 even if we have to paddle it along with the measuring board (again).

Fish like music! Got her in the water the other day. Boat ran like a scalded ape. Replaced my trolling motor receptacle and my batteries checked out fine. Dropped the trolling motor in, and it wouldn’t turn left or right (I didn’t cry but came close). Went through my remotes and the same issue was present with all of them. It may be the control board, but my guess is it’s the steering motor wire that’s been fixed before (see below). Not sure that will be a huge issue to replace. If it proves to be something else too expensive, I’ll likely just get a new motor - it’s 12yrs old and probably has thousands of hours of run time - may be time anyways.
