That's awesome... I've recently thought about getting into casting my own jigs. Bullets would be cool to but I don't know much about ballistics.

Casting to me comes natural & is an extension fishing & shooting. I normally cast 1/8 oz. jigs for fishing river smallmouth but now with SML in my present & future I need some 3/8 & 1/2.

If you ever make some 1/2's with a brush guard and you want to sell them, let me know. Right now, I'm using Chompers or Gamakatsu's and they're kinda pricey...

I'm not much on the bullets but here is a little of my work! These football jigs I have 1/4,3/8,1/2,3/4. One problem I have with them is the light guard! It's not a jig I would want to throw in the brush so to say! Catfish weights! I ordered these heads online and want the mold but don't have it yet! Ultra minnow 3/8 oz I also need a way to powder paint as well! But I know they work the way they are! Sharpie works wonders on the football jigs

Never cast a jig with a weedguard. Love those sinkers.

Watching YouTube, a guy there puts a nail in the weed guard place and when he gets done casting he pulls the Nail out and drills the hole to epoxy a larger guard! I'm going to try this for some brush jigs! The surprising thing with that football mold is the lead don't melt the guard!

Gotcha, nothing speacial needed to powder paint really. just heat the head up and dip it in the powder. I will try to take a video here in a bit and post it up.

Powder paint is easy I'm sure! I was just thinking of a fluid bed and a toaster oven to do a bunch when I do powder paint! This would be only to sale! Like I said sharpie does good just for me!
It does look easier to paint then drill and put a guard in! But I'm fine with what I have now! Beats paying 3-4$ each!
Went to philpot today and couldn't manage but 2 small fish! One on dropshot and one on this jig! Fished markers 1-4, do believe I should have went up lake!
