Its your money but I dont understand spending close to $300 on a single rod and reel setup for trolling, especially a reel that doesnt even have a line counter when you could get 4 good quality line counter reels and trolling rods for that price. 4 sounds better than 1 any day of the week to me.

Back at Leesville for the Striper for the rest of the Summer. They've started up again.

Yeah, I think what I'm gonna do is checkout some of those $29 rods at Walmart and if I'm not satisfied I'll just get a Penn Mairner Boat rod
