Gruesome. The boat: mid 1970's a guy buys this from a friend and doesn't like where the seats are so he tore them out and put in a big deck. Every bolt for the seats he tore out and the ones he added went through the hull and they all leaked. He tried to patch them. It still leaked. He flips it upside down on the lot and walks away. 25 years later we buy the lot. i flip it back over. Most of the wood has rotted. I add some different seats and try to patch the holes. It still leaks. I flip it over and leave it. 6 years later I can't deal with fishing out of the canoe and buy a fiberglass kit and patch. It still leaks, I patch some more. Repeat. Again. Finally it floats. The trolling motor was a gift because it doesn't work exactly right. White PVC extension handle is so it can be driven from the middle seat. Grey pvc rod holders and one actual Scotty rod holder. The live well: garbage can with 9,000 holes drilled in it, get towed beside the boat. We're really moving now! Rods: (right to left) 1: Ambassadeur I found in the gulf about 1994 and had cleaned on a shakespere that was in the shed when we bought the house. 2: Abu Garcia from ebay mounted on a 9' surf rod that was "kicking around". i like it but wish it had a clicker. Sometimes the fish is a ways off from the boat before I realize it's on the hook. 3: Zebco Rhino XL on a 9' surf rod my sister swears she only paid $5 for at a yard sale in Tampa. At least the drag makes noise. 4: the wounded warrior surplus rod/reel. So that's it. Quasi functional on a minimal budget. Yay.
