lounched the boat at 7:00 from the public ramp at the bridge, water 86 degreese and hot!! fished main lake points with c-rig and picked up a small mouth and a channel cat. found fishing to be pretty tough before dark. after the sun went down and cooled off some things started to pick up and we started putting some fish in the boat found very little to no shad above the state park? most of the ales comming to the top was at the mouth of craddic creek. we cought 19 bass and a channel cat for the night, mixed bag with crank baits, jigs, thunder stick and black power bait worms, worms catching the most. 15lbs with the best five bass, put the boat on the trailer about 7:15 and headed for the house. all in all another great trip with my son ont the lake this year

Awesome report. Hows cat-fishing and striper fishing out of the bass boat? Something Ive been toying with the idea of going back to the bass boat for my all around fishing boat.
