Gonna try em tomorrow, prob lower end of lake. Monitoring ch9 vhf "the thunderstick" ... maybe try my blackwater spots, craddock, and bride island... hmmm..... what to do. What's the water look like?? anyone had a look??

Will be up towards the bridge throwing some crankbaits and bucktails at the banks, hope to catch something, and then on to Bridgewater to do some inspections

Curious how much mud the rain the previous few days is going to push down - will be out on the Roanoke side somewhere till mid-morning....

Changed my screen name to thunderstick, lot easier to type and say, and is going to be the name of my boat/marine radio handle... might as well do it while im new...lol

When I crossed the river up in Salem today it was up but not muddy. A lot of mud will come down Linville due to the timber being cut above the bridge. Should be good below the bridge.

would the lake be muddy from hardy to lynville or past...should a person put in at indian point and be better off?

guess ill put in @ the bridge gonna grab lunch @ there anyway... anyone eaten at jack's or can recommend a good place??? I have done the bridgewater places....

i fished last night until about 7 this mornin. fished from beaverdam to bridge. water in that area is in good shape, a little trash but not bad. ended up with 4 stripers 3 largemouth 4 channels and 2 flatheads.

pretty much got skunked today,, I really didn't try too hard. Had a great day w the wife & kids.. tried my spots on craddock, no good, went back to St. Pk. beach for my wife and daughter. went to eat at moosie's then fished a little 1st cove up from, the bridge. aught a few panfish.. went back down to the s curve, pulled up between the little islands on the right, 2ft water... jumped into the water w the kids for a while....no fish, but what a great day!! If ur on the lake u cannot complain!! If u have a bad time, it's ur own fault!! LOVE IT!!!!
