I was joking with a buddy one night that if I had a dock I'd run a bait light hooked up to a normally closed relay hooked to a motion sensor. That way, the light would be on, but if a boat came in the motion sensor would turn off the light

If I can't get bait at a deep light in the summer, I block the light with my boat and then throw and usually load up. They'll move up sometimes when you shut the light off for a few seconds.

Well they would probably think somebody was watching. Hook it up to a speaker that rants obscenities about getting away and I'm calling the law. Maybe some 12ga pump sounds to.
