Piloted the Kraken out of Craddock south (bait was a challenge), marked some good fish on the way. Turned up in a cove to get out of the wind and low and behold we could see a massive school off the starboard side, we scrambled like a couple of fools to get to the bow with top-water lures and ended up scattering the fish to the four corners of the earth (or so we thought). 5 mins later there they were again, we pulled planner boards and downlines over them, around them and threw every top-water we could at them for over an hour and ZERO hits. It was an amazing sight to see that many stripers for so long. My buddy has footage on his phone of the fish finder and of the school as they passed along side of the boat. As soon as he can figure out how to get it to me I’ll post it. Then we lost them, only to find them back where we originally did an hour and a half later. But it was all in vain, literally a rinse and repeat. Glad to hear someone got onto the biters!
