air temp about 60 water temp 65 to 70 water clarity slightly stained Headed out Sat. morning about 5. with a friend. I to get some bait right off my friends dock, about 6 nice size gizzards, and some peanuts. We ran all the way down the lake to the we started pulling 4boards (2 inside and 2 on the channel side). One down line, and a free line off the back of the boat. The free line got nailed, and the fight was on, my friend Jim got on the rod and was fighting the fish, I grabbed the net, and bam the far inside board went under. I dropped the net and got on that rod. Jim got his fish in a nice, 33 inch Striper, I landed mine and it was 31 inches. we released them, and stated to set up the rods, when the water behind the boat erupted. There had to be 100 Stripers busting the surface. We managed to keep calm and got set up and swung around and pulled through were they were. We ended up with 4 more fish, 2, (30 inch), and 2 (28 inches). By 10:30 the wind and rain had picked up so we called it a day. It was a good day.
