10/1 Wt high 60s At cold and rainy Artie, a friend and I put in at oldfield ramp, fished 11pm-3am. Had nice dollar bill sized gizzards in a half dozen throws. Fished bridge down to r24. 4 planers 2 downlines, had one really nice hit on deep water side planer but when Luke grabbed the rod no fish. About 2:30 am we caught a catfish on a planer. 3:00 had a dead battery had to go home. 10/2 Wt and at were the same but wind and rain picked up as the day went on. Put in at oldfield seen bait soon as we pulled out the ramp. One throw dozen and a half gizzards. Fished oldfield down to the state park marked few sporadic fish. About 3 pm we were at the state park, Artie seen stripers busting on a point a half mile away in 30 mph wind and whitecaps. We make our way over and realize only one rod has anything we can throw. Got couple casts in but missed out. Called it not long after that.

You're better men than me for fishing in that stuff. Thanks for the report - keep them coming.
