I'm holding on til mid October. Then, it's on! Been supporting my wife's gym addiction for the last 12 weeks. Making all the needed sacrifices to buy me a few months of uninhibited striper time! 30 pounder or bust! Can I tag along? Mr. Bentrod, you are always welcome on my boat. I would love to hit my favorite "creek" with you sometime this coming season. Mward? I'm looking forward to seeing how the light nets work around November when the bait is schooled deeper but the water is still somewhat warm. We know they work when the bait is lethargic. My prediction is they will still work really good when the bait is lively. I'm not saying 200 plus a throw, but 10 or so when heavier nets are picking up 1 or 2.

I actually ran into you last fall at Hardy Yam. Oh hell it was about 2:30 in the morning one cold night. I was in the G3 johnboat and you seemed amazed someone was as crazy as you to be there. We were leaving and you were just heading out . Can't wait to get out there again (although I'm using artificial), which has been successful to an extent . After reading over these quite informative , yet hilarious posts over the last year, I'm gonna have to give those Gizzards a shot in the near future. See you out there !
