A good place to start is any place there is bait. A great place to start is any place with bait and zero boats. The best place to start is any place with bait, zero boats and stripers who are in the mood to eat.

If you're on the Blackwater side then check the three island area near Gills creek - or mouths of major creeks around that area. Gator forgets there are fish on that side of the lake too

Nah "the dark side" has no fish just big nasty gators and other nasty stuff.

Only ones on the blackwater are the ones that's skeerd to go on the Roanoke,Or just plan lost? Let them babies grow till I get my life back and i'll run them over there to ya.Boy do I miss SML.Is there such a thing as PTSD from lack of fishing? Luck to all!
