AT 42, WT 58. I set out a little after 5:00am with a tank full of ales looking for some stripes. I started checking coves and points that normally hold fish this time of year. NADA. I decided to head down the lake and was met by a fleet of bass boats that was going everywhere. I though a couple was going to land on a island. As dark as it was and showers, I decided to head somewhere else. I pulled a cove with planers and got one hit and no hookup. As I moved out of the cove, I come on some breaking fish. I had a hard time keeping up with them, but I did land (3)on a fluke with 1/4 jig head before they rounded a point and disappeared. I did put out more planers and were rewarded with (2) more fish. I was glad to get out and spend some quality time on the water. Total (5) fish. 24" -28".
