Friday AT was low 50 WT was 54
Originally planned on going to the Roanoke side after work on Friday but chickened out. Too many fish on that side for me. Put in at Magnum around 6 pm Friday and promptly went on a bait run. Found a good mix of gizzards pretty quick and decided to run down lake to cast a few buck tails. Connected 4 times and released 4. All fish were small (26-28).
Saturday AT was freaking cold Wind was freaking cold WT was freaking cold
I have to say that keeping bait over night presents quite a problem for my sleep pattern. I got up 3 times to check on my bait. Got to the lake at 7 am and wow was it cold and a little windy. Decided to go to a spot that was somewhat protected from the wind. It was only protected a little bit. We put out 4 boards and one float line. It was murder out there Saturday. Kept getting baits nailed but no hook ups. Finally got a hook up with a 30" fish and released it. After 6 hours of misery I decided to call it. No skunk and one hell of a wind burn. Lol I agree! I was going to head that way but decided against it. Glad I did.

Caught bait them threw bucktails No skunk on Sat was a Win! Yep that's right. Should have mentioned that I met with Getlinewet on Thursday and i mentioned to him a certain dock on a certain point may be holding a few fish. Thought it'd be a good time. It was. Get 'enJim
