Went out Sunday a.m. to 16* AT and 44.6* WT. It was chilly. Had a small mishap at the ramp with my big motor linkage and fixed that and headed out to get bait. Bait was a pita for me and my fingers. Caught plenty of peanuts but didn't want to fish with them. Finally, after what felt like a thousand throws, caught a few small gizzard shad and hit it. Fished 6 boards and 1 out the back on a main point. Caught 7 fish to 14 pounds. Caught the first fish before I had all my baits out and then they came slowly after that. I did notice a few birds working the surface but never did get over to them. It was hard to stick with one method and to stay in the same spot for me. But, I managed and it paid off.

Glad someone got out. I had planned to fish Sat and/or Sun till I saw the temps for Saturday AM and wussed out - Sunday might have been manageable, though when I finally crawled out of bed at 9 and it was still 26 degrees I think I was glad I didn't - Sunday afternoon sure turned nice - wish I could have gotten out then.
Good catching & good report.....

Nice work gator, fish have been moving all over the bwater. Been slaying them one morning and then nothing in the area the next, switching between the usual 5 hot spots has proven to be a good method for me. Tight lines!
